The Purchasing Inventory Manager is responsible to track, order and maintain inventory for all service jobs. 

Essential Duties and Responsibilities 

  • Maintains a consistent and positive attendance pattern
  • Maintains good inventory control procedures
  • Documents all incoming material & inventory in Wintac
  • Maintains and monitors refrigerant for service trucks and shop tools
  • Prepares and maintains purchase order system according to accepted standards to assure proper receiving records
  • Dispatches driver to job sites for needed supplies
  • Verifies pick ticket with purchase orders in Wintac and corrects any errors
  • Issues and follows through to completion all company purchase orders
  • Overseas warehouse employee(s) and driver
  • Responsible for quarterly inventories and any other inventory control procedures as required
  • Manages the employee uniform program
  • Supports field technicians

Additional Duties

  • Shelves and maintains warehouse inventory in a neat, orderly fashion by putting stock away where it belongs and keeping work space accessible, efficient, and safe
  • Conducts warehouse and truck inventories annually
  • Inspects and maintains all company tools for safe operation and reference company tool list
  • Reviews and researches pricing for inventory
  • Additional duties as assigned

Minimum Qualifications

Education and/or Experience

High school diploma or GED and one to three years related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience. Must be good with numbers and have excellent organizational skills. Must have full working knowledge of air conditioning procedures, practices and theory. Must have knowledge of service parts

Language Skills

Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals. Ability to write routine reports and correspondence. Ability to speak effectively before groups of customers or employees.

Mathematical Skills

Ability to calculate figures and amounts such as discounts, interest, commissions, proportions and percentages. 

Reasoning Ability

Ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out instructions furnished in written, oral, or diagram form.  Ability to deal with problems involving several concrete variables in standardized situations.

Certificates, Licenses, Registrations

Must have a valid driver's license
